Do you have an oiled parquet and don’t know how to clean it?<\/h2>\n

An oiled wooden floor<\/strong> can enhance the natural beauty of the wood but also requires some extra care compared to a varnished parquet. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, does not provide the typical protective and resistant layer found on varnished surfaces. For this reason, the specific cleaners<\/strong> must respect the unique characteristics of this finish.<\/p>\n

Maintaining an oil-finished parquet is easier than you might think!<\/h3>\n

Regular and periodic cleaning<\/strong> with quality products is recommended, just like any other flooring.<\/p>\n

For proper routine maintenance<\/strong>, it is advisable to use a vacuum cleaner or a soft electrostatic cloth to capture and remove excess dust. Then, wash the parquet with a well-wrung microfiber cloth and clean the dirt by wiping the cloth along the grain of the wood floor<\/strong> (this avoids the formation of streaks and marks).<\/p>\n

What are the most suitable products for cleaning an oiled parquet?<\/h3>\n

The best products for cleaning an oiled floor are those specifically formulated for this type of finish. (Caution: highly aggressive solutions for wood are strongly discouraged)<\/strong><\/p>\n
