Industry Line Catalogue: new look and many innovations

The new FONDO UV SV 113 is a single-component insulating primer that can be applied by spraying or curtain coating. It combines the properties of a two-component solvent-based primer with the fast drying of a UV product, giving the floor a toned final effect.

Wide range of reagents for vintage effects

The line is enriched with four new shades of West Activator, ideal for enhancing the vintage look of wood and following the latest market trends.

What are West Activators?

They are water-based solutions, free of dyes and pigments, suitable for intensifying and modifying the color of tannin and/or resin-rich woods, by reacting with the substances contained in them, without covering the grain and figuring.

• ATTIVATORE WEST FUMÈ: Gives the treated wood a grey-shaded tone.
• ATTIVATORE WEST SMOKED: Gives the treated wood a brownish shade.
• ATTIVATORE WEST LARCH : Gives the treated wood a light-brown shade.
• ATTIVATORE WEST ICE: Gives the treated wood a whitish-grey tone.

Since not all woods contain the same amount of tannin, Chimiver also offers the Preparatore West Universale, a water-based solution that, when applied directly on raw wood, makes non-tannin woods reactive..

LED UV range for roller coating cycles

Chimiver introduces a new line of LED photo-curing products for roller coating cycles:

• PRYMER UV R-LED 912: UV LED primer for parquet based on special unsaturated acrylic resins, used as the first adhesion coat.
• FONDO UV R-LED 930: UV LED primer for parquet based on special acrylic resins with high filling power, excellent levelling, and good sandability.
• FONDO UV R-LED 937: UV LED primer for parquet based on special acrylic resins, used as a filling base coat. Particularly suitable in brushed cycles to prevent the “shiny pore” effect.
• FINITURA UV R-LED 977: UV LED finish based on special acrylic resins for parquet lacquering, offering excellent hardness, levelling, and uniform opacity.

FONDO UV R378 provides extremely high abrasion resistance in UV roller coating cycles, making it ideal for floors subject to very heavy traffic.
