CHIMIVER strengthens its commitment to sustainability by updating its adhesive range
In line with its responsible development path and in continuity with its sustainability-driven choices, Chimiver has decided to prioritize the use of naturally derived iron oxides instead of synthetic ones for adhesive coloration.
Starting from February 2026 (subject to existing inventory), Chimiver adhesives will therefore feature a new color, aligned with market standards, while maintaining unchanged chemical and physical performance.
This decision is part of Chimiver’s continuous improvement strategy, aimed at reducing environmental impact and offering the market increasingly sustainable solutions, while preserving the same levels of quality, reliability, and performance.
We would also like to highlight that ADESIVER HERCULES is EC1 Plus certified and suitable for use in projects compliant with LEED®, BREEAM®, WELL™, and the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) for construction, also thanks to the use of certified Plastica Seconda Vita recycled plastic packaging.
This choice enabled Chimiver to win the CONAI Ecodesign Packaging Call, further strengthening the product’s leadership in the market.
In line with this strong focus on quality and safety, a version of ADESIVER HERCULES certified IMO MED is also available, making it ideal for marine and naval applications.
