The circular economy represents an innovative and sustainable perspective in how we approach production and consumption.

Unlike the traditional linear model, where resources are extracted, goods are produced, and waste is disposed of, the circular economy promotes the concept of

“reduce, reuse, recycle, collect, and recover.”

Accurate measurement of circularity for organizations, products, and services is crucial to generate meaningful, consistent, and reliable data for effective performance improvement and to avoid greenwashing phenomena.

Using COACH (Circularity-Oriented Assistance for CHemical companies), a tool developed by FEDERCHIMICA in collaboration with Ergo srl and the certification body Certiquality, Chimiver Panseri S.p.A. will conduct a self-assessment of its performance to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.

The circularity indicators within the tool can serve as practical instruments to guide the implementation of circular economy principles and align with the UNI/TS 11820:2022 standard.
