The Green Public Procurement (GPP)
The Green Public Procurement (GPP), introduced in Italy in 2008, qualifies as the main tool of the European Strategy on “Sustainable Consumption and Production”. It represents an intervention in environmental policy aimed at promoting a market oriented towards products and services with a lower environmental impact by adopting, through ministerial decrees, the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) for each category of products, services, and works purchased or entrusted by the Public Administration. It uses public demand as a lever to support this development, contributing significantly to achieving the goals of major European strategies, such as resource efficiency and the circular economy.
Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM)
Chimiver Panseri S.p.A. stands at the forefront of the industry by offering a wide range of products, all strictly aligned with the rigorous standards of Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), providing high-quality and cutting-edge solutions to meet every need. In Italy, the effectiveness of CAM has been ensured through Article 18 of Law 221/2015 and subsequently through Article 34 related to “Criteria for Energy and Environmental Sustainability” of Legislative Decree 50/2016, known as the “Public Procurement Code” amended by Legislative Decree 56/2017). These regulations have made the application of CAM mandatory for all contracting stations.
Therefore, we provide our support by enriching our products with an advanced mapping of compliance with Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), accessible through our Sustainability Card (S-Card) for the product.
It is essential to provide dedicated support to our customers during every phase of the purchasing process, ensuring a personalized experience and constant assistance to ensure maximum satisfaction.
